CLARKSVILLE, TN

CLARKSVILLE GREENWAY

Coming from the south, seeing a view like this is astonishing. Rocks, hills, and mountains are not a scene I see normally in south Mississippi. So when I had the chance to take a little trail walking adventure, I chose this place. I did not regret this trip one bit. First the fresh air I got to breathe and the cool air I felt under all the trees that covered the whole trail was fantastic.

I also notice that many people come here to jog and ride their bikes. If I lived near by, I would do the same too. Although the view is amazing I got very close to a SNAKE. OH yes…. they are everywhere. As I was taking photos of my brother, my son screamed “SNAKE”. My immediate response was running away faster the FLASH. So yes, be careful when you do visit this place. After all, it is a nature walk.

If you don’t feel like walking or jogging, you do have to option to rent a bike. This is located right where the trail starts. It’s not that expensive either. Public bathroom is also available at the beginning of the trail so there is no need to pop a squat!

Due to the amount of people that came with me on this trip, I was unable to make it to the end of the trip. However, My father and my brother in law were able to walk further than we were. At the end of the trail, they stopped and were able to see about 15 deer eating dinner peacefully. Yes, they are wild creature and normally are hard to find. But these deer did not care if anyone was watching them. I wish I was able to see it but my dad came back with pixelized photo for proof. Could not post the photo here unfortunately.

This photo was taken after finding out I was couple feet away from a snake. I was scared and could not keep a smiling face. Other than my sad face, look at the beautiful rocks.

CLARKSVILLE RIVERWALK

No, I didn’t take this photo. My mother is my second shooter. Sometime a photographer also needs their photos done too! This location is call Clarksville River walk. This little walk will allow you to walk to two different rivers which is Cumberland river and Red River. There is alot of history here in Clarksville. This is also one my favorite places to take photos during my trip. The view here was breath taking. It is also a great place to have a little coffee and read a book.
